Would you buy jewelry and fashion accessories online?

I'm doing a project trying to find out if a business idea is good.


Please let me know if you would buy fashion jewelry (rings, necklaces, bracelets, studs) and fashion accessories (hats, belts, purses, shoes, sunglasses) from an online website that wasn't affiliated with some huge store. What would make you consider buying? What would turn you off from buying?


Would you buy inexpensive jewelry (like under $ 25)?


Would you buy mid-range jewelry (like $ 50- $ 100)?


Would you buy expensive jewelry (like over $ 200)?


Would you buy a purse or belt or sunglasses that were lookalikes of major designer labels (Gucci, Fendi, Luis Vuitton, Alfred Sung, Jimmy Chu, Calvin Klein, etc.)?


Assume the site is professionally done, has built-in functions like a shopping cart and credit card buying, shipping, and is secure, with a privacy policy and a guarantee.

And then having a jewelry business,I need to order the supplies to make,the jewelry that the general public doesn't know how badly they are get ripped off for.

Reply:no look alikes. Thats cheap, i mean if you want the real thing, and wanna get 100 percent satisfacation then get the real thing! and i would buy jewelry up to 200 dollars. You have to be original, thats what gets people attentions.
Reply:Not sure about all jewelry. It depends how specialized your taste is. You can find special jewelry online for specific interests which would be very hard to find in your area (locally). I know this because I run an Ancient/Greek Jewelry shop online and people often tell me how glad they are that they can find items that interest them from the comfort of their living-room without travelling to Greece.
