Teenage boys, would you rather date a "prep" or an "emo"?

I%26#039;m not one for labels, but most people I know are. Lately, I have wondered if most guys would prefer a preppy girl or an emo girl. :) I have %26quot;preppy%26quot; and %26quot;emo%26quot; friends and I know who and how much they date. I%26#039;m planning on mixing the answers I get with that info.





When I say %26quot;prep%26quot; I mean the kind that wears Abercrombie, Hollister, American Eagle, and Aeropostale. The ones that are high maintenance. They have Coach purses and wear pink all the time. They have rich parents most of the time and can be extremely snobby.





When I say %26quot;emo%26quot; girls I mean the ones that shop at Hot Topic, Delia%26#039;s, Target, and thrift stores. Not the ones that wear all black, though. I suppose this definition might also be known as scene? The girls that have side bangs and converse shoes. They listen to bands like Hawthorne Heights.





Note: When I define the labels, I am describing how they are at /MY SCHOOL/. Please don%26#039;t complain about how I am stereotyping you or that you don%26#039;t like labels. :)

Well to answer your question prep, I in fact love high maintenance girls (as long as I don%26#039;t have to pay for it of course). Because they always look good, they look put together, and well girly. They have their hands and feet done and always some alluring perfume. Just too hard to resist.

Reply:Emos wouldn%26#039;t be happy or excited all the time. In my opinion dating someone whose emo or a prep has more to do with dating an image, because in all honesty a girl or a boy is going to choose what they are attracted to, none is better than the other. It%26#039;s high school rediculousness, and you won%26#039;t realize that until you%26#039;re out of high school. No one cares if you%26#039;re wearing abercrombie or new black skinny jeans/pants from hot topic when your out of high school.
