some people make bad decisions in life and society labels them as problems. if my chances for success in life are based on my past, then why do executives from like enron get away with destroying MANY lives. some of the biggest crooks in our society are the people that are supposed to be setting the example. i had a addiction problem, made mistakes, came up from a life of self imposed will, turned my life around, and learned from lifes mistakes, and cant do certain things because im labeled as a problem?....hahahahaha....take one loooong good look at what direction are country is heading and tell me im the bad person...AMERICA is turning into another 3rd world country. step in my shoes of life and see where i was and where i am now. people do CHANGE. thank you
Do you think people who make bad decisions and get into trouble can turn their life around or are they labeled
I think by your name you may be a Marine. Crimes are crimes, and some, can be forgiven with hard work and a real change. I am an NCO and I have seen troops grow up and take their duty and the rules seriously. You can change, even if you get discharged. You can ALWAYS choose the right path, just hope it is not to late, like for Tookie Williams. Chose to change too late.
Reply:Boys are labeled by everyone. Girls are labeled by boys.
Reply:I believe that everyone deserves a second chance especially when that person has made concious effort to improve.
My advice to anyone in that position is to work hard, consistently do good things and eventually you would be accepted for who you are. A normal human being.
Reply:hhhmmmmmm.?.?.?... well, it depends. If he or she is a recovering drug attict, or a booze, then yes they could change their life around.
but they%26#039;re still labeled. meaning that, that person , if he or she is trying to get a job, it would be harder.
NO ONE WANTS TO HIER A RECOVERING.... WHATEVER!!
Reply:I think people make alot of mistakes but yes you can change your life around. In 10 years whose gonna remember what you did in your past and whose gonna care. I think everyone has 2nd chances.... hope I helped some...
Reply:Hi there. I am not sure if you were just venting or if you were asking a question. Anyhow- I absolutly believe with all my being that a person can change their lives around after years of unethical and immoral acts. In order to do good you need to know bad. Nothing exists without an opposite. However, it is solely the responsibility of the person to first acknowledge their faults and try to the best of their ability to turn those faults into positive thoughts and actions. If a person holds on to their %26quot;problems%26quot; because they feel that the greater society wont even acknowledge their new and imroved approaches to life then that is their decision. This will only retard the person even more, letting him bask in his problems, feeling sorry for himself, and continuing a downward spiral which goes against that persons natural instinct, gravitation, and desire to move forward. So I say this: if you are making positive changes, make them! do it for you, not for the pat on the back from others. If they dont see your rebirth then they havent yet been able to see their own faults and areas within themselves that can be worked on. We all have problems but its out response to our problems that defines who we are. I wish you luck!!!!
