Shut Up And Dance "I'm Raving I'm Raving" History?

Ok......The story I heard was when they released this record back in 1992 it was doing really well as a White Label and would've got to number one in the charts if Marc Cohn hadn't slapped an injunction on it because if you've heard the song it's a blatant bootleg of Marc Cohn's "Wa;ling in Memphis" except they changed the verse to: "Put on my Raving Shoes and I boarded a Plane" to the tune of walking in Memphis (obviously) so I was wondering if there were any DJ's out there who could give me any answers to my search of truth. =P

Shut Up And Dance "I'm Raving I'm Raving" History?
i had too many snowball and white doves that year to remember.
Reply:Ohhhh, I remember this from my clubbing days, its a great track, not sure about Marc Cohn taking action over it but yes its the same melody with just a minor change in the lyrics so wouldn't put it past him to have done that. Doesn't really answer your question but brought back memories :)

(I have a Shut Up And Dance white label of Green Man, but that isn't nearly as good as I'm Raving I'm Raving)
Reply:Don't know the answer, but wish I was raving right now.... ;-(
